Description

No. 18 Horsefair is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled concrete tile roof with a brick lateral stack. The building has a two-unit gable-entry plan and stands two storeys high. The front gable end includes a 20th-century door to the left, with segmental dressed arches over 8/8-pane sashes on the ground floor. The first floor has two-light glazing-bar casements, and there is a timber lintel above a two-light casement in the attic. The street return is blank, while the other return has a 20th-century lean-to and first-floor glazing-bar casements. The interior has not been inspected.
