Description

No. 8 High Street is a house dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is built of limestone rubble and has a roof made of slate and concrete tiles. The house has two storeys and consists of a main block with two bays, which is extended to the right by one bay that includes an additional storey and an attic. The central entrance features a six-panel door, with the upper panels being glazed. There are three-light casement windows throughout, and all openings have timber lintels. The extension has a flush dormer. The left gable has a stack, and there are two brick stacks on the extension. At the rear, there is a 20th-century lean-to.
