Description

Spindleberry is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It features a pebbledashed exterior and a half-hipped thatched roof with a brick stack on the left side. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has a one-window front. There is a planked door located to the right of centre, a fixed window to the left, and a one-light casement window to the right. An eyebrow dormer includes another one-light casement. The right side of the building has a two-light casement window in the attic. At the rear, there is a one-light casement window and a 20th-century flat-roofed extension. The cottage was undergoing renovation at the time of the survey in April 1985.
