Description
The Old School House is an elementary school built in 1852, now functioning as a detached cottage. It features a flint construction with brick bands and a Welsh slate roof, and is designed in an L-shape. The building is one storey high with three windows. The entrance is a Tudor-arched planked door with ornamental hinges, located in the wing that is at a right angle to the road. This wing also includes a three-light wooden casement window, along with additional three-light and two-light casements that have leaded arched lights. The right side of the building has a three-light casement and a gabled limestone bellcote. The gable end facing the road has a 20th-century three-light casement window. At the rear, there are 20th-century flat-roofed extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
