Description

Thornycroft is a 17th-century cottage located in All Cannings. It features a timber frame resting on a sarsen stone sill, with brick elements and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of three bays, with only the west bay being framed. The framing is two panels high and includes corner braces, along with a timber-framed lean-to at the gable end. There is a main stack situated between the framed bay and the central brick bay. A door is located on the south side in the framed bay. The cottage has 20th-century windows and a gabled dormer in the center bay on the south side.
