Description
The Sainsbury monument is an early 19th century chest tomb located about 22 metres south of the tower of the Church of St. James in North Wraxall. It is constructed of ashlar and features rectangular plaques that are flanked by ornamented strips and column corners adorned with Adam capitals. The tomb has a moulded base and a capstone. It bears an inscription dedicated to Ann Sainsbury, who died in 1822.
