Description

This is a chest tomb from the later 18th century, located in the churchyard about 2 meters south-southwest of the N. Tayler monument and south of the nave of the Church of St. James in North Wraxall. The tomb is made of ashlar and features an oval plaque on each side, with cherubs in the upper spandrels. It has drapery drops on each side and fluted baluster corners. The base and cornice are moulded, and there are fielded end panels.
