Description

This is a chest tomb from the mid-18th century located about 7 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. James in North Wraxall. It is made of ashlar stone and features a fielded plaque in the center of each side, which is broken forward and flanked by fielded panels. The corners of the tomb are recessed with a floral drop design. It also has a moulded base and cornice, along with a pulvinated frieze.
