Description

This mid-18th century chest tomb is located about 6 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. James in North Wraxall. It is constructed of ashlar and features oval side plaques that are flanked by floral scrolls. The corner piers have foliate decoration on the sides, and there are floral drops on ribbons at the ends. The tomb also has oval end plaques, a moulded base, and a cornice with a pulvinated frieze.
