Description

The barn at Dogdean Farm is a mid-19th century structure featuring weather-boarded walls supported by timber framing and a tiled roof. It has four unequal bays and an aisle on the east side. A large square-headed entry is located in the second bay from the left on the west side. The roof is constructed with an arched-braced tie-beam and collar, along with kneed principals. The aisle posts rest on stone pads and are braced to the wall plate. This barn is included for its group value.
