Description

Homington Bridge is a road bridge that crosses the River Ebble, a tributary of the River Avon, located north of the village of Homington. It was likely built in the 17th century and was widened in the 19th century. The bridge is constructed of dressed stone, with the later widening done in brick. It features two spans with round chamfered arches and has parapets added later. The widening in the 19th century occurred on the upstream (west) side of the bridge.
