Description

The D. Holborow monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 9 meters south of the tower of the Church of St. James in North Wraxall. It dates from the later 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features two shield plaques on the south side, with fielded strips between them and at the corners. The north side has a rectangular plaque, while the east end displays a shield plaque and the west end has a lozenge. It is finished with a moulded base and cornice.
