Description

The G. Holborow monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 15 metres south of the south tower of the Church of St. James. This mid-19th century tomb is made of pennant stone and features an oval wreathed plaque set within a rectangular frame. The side piers are adorned with half-urns on either side. The north side of the tomb has a rectangular plaque. It has a moulded base and a ridged capstone. The inscription commemorates G. Holborow, who died in 1852.
