Description

The I. Holborow monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 12 metres south of the tower of the Church of St. James. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of pennant stone. The tomb features two rectangular plaques on its sides, with a drapery drop between them. It has lyre ends adorned with a husk drop, along with a moulded base and capstone. The south side of the tomb has an inscription for Mary Mabbett, who died in 1802, while the north side is inscribed for I. Holborow, who died in 1813.
