Description

The G. Holborow monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 meters south of the southeast angle of the tower of the Church of St. James. This early 19th-century monument is made of pennant stone and features two oval plaques on the north side. The spandrels are decorated with floral and foliate designs, and there is a wreathed urn positioned between the plaques. The south side has two panels framed in a rococo style. The tomb has lyre ends and bears an inscription commemorating G. Holborow, who died in 1809.
