Description
Two cottages in a row located at 33 and 35 The Street, built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of brick with a roughcast front elevation and have thatched roofs. The cottages are two storeys high, each with a symmetrical layout featuring a central entrance leading to a hall and flanking reception rooms. Cottage 33 is narrower and may be slightly older. Both cottages have six-panelled half-glazed doors with flat timber canopies supported by cut brackets. They feature sixteen-pane sash windows with face set boxes. The ground floor openings of cottage 35 have cambered heads. The roofs are hipped, with the main stack located on the party wall and additional stacks added to the rear.
