Description

The Marsh is an early 19th-century house constructed of brick, featuring a hipped slate roof with two flat-roofed dormers. The building is two stories high with attics and consists of three bays, being two rooms deep. Inside, there is a central stair hall flanked by reception rooms, with stacks located on the dividing walls. The exterior includes canted bay windows from the late 19th century and 20 and 12-pane sash windows on the first floor. The central entrance has a six-panel door with glazed upper panels and a round fanlight above. There is also a later 19th-century open timber-framed porch with moulded details. The interior has not been seen.
