Description
The building at 13-17 Trinity Street dates back to the 17th century, originally constructed as a hall or barn with a timber frame. It was later altered in the late 18th or early 19th century and encased in red brick, transforming it into a group of cottages. The structure is two storeys high with an attic, topped with an old tile roof and featuring a dormer window on each side, along with a single window on both floors. These windows are two-light wooden casements. Each cottage has a ledged door sheltered by a small wooden hood. Inside, remnants of the original timber frame are visible on the first floor, including posts and an original roof truss with a curved tie beam. Numbers 13 to 17 form a group with Trinity Hospital.
