Description

77 and 79 Brown Street are an early 19th-century pair of cottages. They are three storeys tall and constructed of white brick. The cottages have a low-pitched gable end slate roof with flat eaves. On the upper floors, there are three windows, with one false window in the center on the first floor. The windows are two-light wood casements. On the ground floor, there are two panelled doors, one window, and a 19th-century shop beneath a projecting hood. Nos 71A and 75 to 81 (odd) form a group with these cottages.
