Description
Littleover Cottage and the attached dwelling, Nos 56 and 58, are two cottages dating from the 18th century, positioned at right angles to the road. They are constructed from colourwashed brick and chalkstone, topped with a thatched roof. The buildings are single storey with an attic and consist of three bays. Littleover Cottage occupies the two eastern bays and features a central stack, along with two 20th-century glazed doors, one of which has a thatched canopy. The windows are leaded paned, including two flush dormers. The roof is half hipped. The second cottage occupies the western bay and has a single storey gable lean-to. It includes a boarded door within a 20th-century glazed porch, three-light timber windows on the ground floor, and a two-light paned flush dormer. There is a stack on the party wall and a hipped roof. An outshut extends to the rear, covering the western bay of Littleover Cottage. The interior has not been seen.
