Description

The Old Forge is an 18th-century house located in Easton Royal. It is constructed from colourwashed brick, with some stone and flint, and features a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and has two bays. Attached to the right gable is a former forge housed in a single storey outbuilding made of pantiled brick. The front has a 20th-century door set within a glazed porch. The ground floor has timber casement windows in segmental headed openings, while the upper floor features tall leaded flush dormers. There is a brick chimney stack on the left gable and another stack for the forge on the right.
