Description

Crossways is a late 17th-century house located on the west side of Ram Alley in Easton Royal. The house is timber-framed with colourwashed and roughcast surfaces, and has a thatched roof. It is a single storey with an attic, originally comprising three bays, with a further bay extension added around 1975 to the right. The entrance is through a glazed panel door set within a thatched roofed porch. The right-hand side features a canted bay window; other windows are 18th or early 19th century, with leaded panes and iron casements within timber frames. There are three dormers in the roof. A 20th-century timber-clad and tiled extension runs along the rear, south side of the building. A brick stack is present.
