Description

The barn range located west of Manor Farm dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is timber framed with weatherboarding resting on brick sills and features a thatched roof. The structure includes a three-bay block on the south-west side, an open linking bay, and a five-bay barn that has central cart doors. The framing consists of tie-beams and carved braces attached to the posts, with raking struts supporting the principals that are connected by collars. The roof structure is completed with single purlins.
