Description

This is an 18th-century cottage, likely dating from the mid-1700s. It is constructed of diaper brickwork and has a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with an attic, originally comprising three bays. A four-panelled door is located between the second and third bays. The windows are timber casement windows with segmental brick arches. There are three flush dormers to the front of the building and one to the rear. A datestone above the door reads "M / W L / 1746". The roof extends downwards at the rear to cover narrow service rooms.
