Description

Manor House is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-19th century, which incorporates fragments of an earlier building. It features buff Flemish brickwork and has a tiled roof. The structure is U-shaped, with two storeys, attics, and cellars, and the main facade faces southwest with five bays. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped. There is a central pair of panelled doors with a fanlight above, and twelve-paned sash windows with gauged brick lintels; the upper floor windows also have blind boxes. A tripartite window is located on the first floor above the entrance. The eaves are adorned with paired modillion, and there are two flat-roofed dormers with 6-paned single hung sashes. The rear wings have stacks, and the main access is through a porch on the northeast side. The interior has not been seen but is said to contain a contemporary staircase.
