Description
Duckhurst Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of red and grey brick in Flemish bond and features a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and rendered quoins, with a gabled shape and projecting verges. There are gable end stacks and a regular three-window front consisting of 12-pane sashes set in virtually open boxes. The ground-floor windows have splayed rubbed brick voussoirs. The central entrance features a panelled door with two top lights, framed by a reeded architrave with paterae and a shallow lean-to hood. To the left, there is a narrower parallel rear range that connects with a short rear return wing on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
