Description
Overbridge Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the north side of Marden Road in Staplehurst. The building is timber framed and clad with beaded weatherboarding, topped by a plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high with attics and features a rendered plinth. The gabled structure has gable-end stacks and two hipped dormers. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of three casements: two are 2-light and one is a central single-light. There is a central half-glazed door. At the back, there are later 19th-century return wings that have roofs hipped to the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse is marked as Clapper Farm on the Ordnance Survey map.
