Description
Burnham Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and has a concrete tile roof. The building features a symmetrical south front with two storeys and two bays, and it has a central entrance hall. There is a wing at the rear right and a later outshut in the angle. The entrance includes a doorcase with pilasters that support an entablature with a hood, a panelled door beneath a moulded lintel, and a plain overlight set in a panelled reveal. The windows are twelve-pane sashes with flush wooden architraves, sills, and keyed stucco cambered arches throughout. There are end stacks, and the left return has single twelve-pane sashes in similar surrounds on each floor. The interior has not been investigated.
