Description

The barn at Jacksom's Farm is an 18th-century structure built from rubble stone and topped with a corrugated iron roof. It features a hipped, projecting south cart entry and a plain entry on the north side. On either side of the south entry, there are two tiers of ashlar dove-holes, while the east gable end has four tiers. The barn has a double purlin, five-bay roof supported by closely spaced tie-beam-and-collar trusses. Additionally, a stable has been added to the east, which has a roof made of Bridgwater tiles.
