Description

The barn at Little Ashley Farm is an 18th-century structure built from rubble stone, featuring a roof made of Bridgwater tile and stone slate. It has coped gables and a hipped projecting cart entry on the north side. There are lean-tos on each side of the porch and on the east end wall. Attached to the west end is a lower range with a coped gable and a loading door in the end wall, along with a lean-to on the south side. The main barn has a door on the south side set in a flush chamfered surround and a roof supported by a three-bay tie-beam-and-collar-truss design.
