Description

These are two houses, number 15 and number 17 Victoria Road, built in the mid-19th century and situated adjacent to number 13. Number 17 is a villa with a hipped roof and a central, pedimented entrance, while number 15 acts as a buffer between numbers 13 and 17 and also features a pedimented doorpiece. A decorative band runs across the front of the building above the ground floor. The buildings are constructed of stone. Number 15 has a round-headed window above the doorway, with a moulded architrave. The rest of the ground floor features three pairs of round-headed windows with raised surrounds, brackets supporting the sills, and two rectangular windows. All the windows are late-glazed sashes with marginal glazing. There are six-panel doors; number 17's door has raised and fielded panels, both set within moulded architraves. Numbers 13 to 17 (the odd numbers) along with walls and gatepiers to number 13 form a notable group.
