Description

These are a pair of mid-19th century, two-storey buildings constructed of ashlar. They feature a projecting plinth and a band above the ground floor, with corner piers on number 1 and a slight central break in the facade. The ground floor windows are lightly emphasised. The building has five ranges of windows, including two two-storey canted bays. There is a ground floor, three-light canted bay to the left of the centre, and two round-headed windows to the left. The windows are late-glazed sashes. Number 1 has a doorway on the west side, which is round-headed with nook piers capped with floral detail and a surrounding label. The entrance door is four-panelled, with a fanlight above. Number 3 has a wide arched entrance between the two two-storey bays, with a round-headed doorway containing glazed fanlights, flanked by round-headed windows. The roof is a shallow hip with slate tiles and wide eaves supported by scrolled wooden brackets. The chimneys are of ashlar construction.
