Description

Park Farmhouse is a brick farmhouse dating to circa 1830, built on the site of an earlier building. It has a slate roof. The house is two storeys high and originally comprised four bays by two, with the two central bays slightly projecting and constructed of red brick, contrasting with the diaper brick used for the flanking bays. A central entrance features a six-panel door with a simple Roman Doric portico. The windows are twelve-pane sashes with crown glass, housed within concealed boxes and set under cambered brick wedge lintels. Gable stacks are present. It is recorded that John Wesley stayed at Park Farm during his visits to the local area.
