Description

Grange Farmhouse is a brick farmhouse built in 1814, as indicated by a sale prospectus. It has a slate roof with a parapet and chimney stacks at each end. The symmetrical facade features three windows with original sash windows and glazing bars. An open-sided porch with Ionic columns and an arched roof provides access to panelled double doors and a fanlight with glazing bars. Two early 19th-century brick piers, rendered and of square section, flank the property. They have moulded cornices and ball finials.
