Description

The Village Hall, built in 1856 and originally serving as a school, was designed by architect R.T. Hutchinson. It is constructed of red brick, featuring gault brick buttresses, quoins, and window architraves. The building has a plain tiled roof and is a single-storey structure. The west gable end includes a combined stack and bell turret. There are three casement windows, each with three lights, made with wood mullions and cast iron diamond glazing bars. The entrance is located in a projecting south wing, while the east end of the building has been rebuilt.
