Description
The King's Arms Public House is a late 18th-century building located on Wyke Road. It is two storeys high and features painted pebbledash on its exterior. The façade has a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with two coupled windows on the upper floor and one similar window on the ground floor to the right, all of which are late glazed sashes with beaded inner edges. A modern thin band runs above the ground floor. The central doorway is framed by rusticated quoins and has brackets supporting a hood, with a six-panel door. To the right of the main entrance is a modern porch. The main section of the building has a tiled roof with coped verges and gable end chimneys, while an addition features pantiles, also with a coped verge and gable end chimney. At the rear, there are rubble extensions. The King's Arms Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 and 3 and Nos 2 and 4 Marsh Road.
