Description

The Blandy Monument is a chest tomb located 12 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Michael. It dates from 1835 and is made of coloured limestone. The tomb features a plain table with a lower arris bead and a moulded base, along with plain corner pilasters. There are incised and inlaid inscriptions dedicated to Mary Ann Blandy and her three children. The surrounding railings have been removed.
