Description

No. 2 Maryport Street is a late 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of painted stone. The building features a shallow frieze and a moulded wooden eaves cornice, topped by a gable end slate roof. There are three windows on the upper floors, which are sash windows with later glazing bars, moulded flush wood frames, and thin block sills. The ground floor has an early 20th-century shop front. Nos. 1 to 16 Maryport Street form a group.
