Description

29 and 30 Monday Market Street is a building from the late 18th century, featuring a front that belongs to an earlier structure. It is two storeys tall, made of painted brick resting on a projecting plinth. There is a band at the first-floor level and a brick and wood eaves cornice. The roof is covered with Marseilles tiles. On the first floor, there are two wide windows on either side of a narrow central window. The ground floor has two similar wide windows and a central double window, along with a six-panel door that is sheltered by a thin hood supported by cast iron brackets. Timber framing can be seen in the passage and at the rear of the building.
