Description
Foresthill Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge built with pebbledashed brickwork and a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a single extension to the north. The ground floor features rusticated quoins and pointed windows that originally had 'Y' tracery frames, although only one survives on the right side. There is a painted boarded door set within an arch, and lozenge shapes lead to the windows. The upper floor includes quatrefoil lights with leading that forms intersecting circles. The parapet is adorned with a series of spiked lobes, with every fourth lobe terminating in an acanthus capital and twisted spike. A central stack is located in the hipped roof.
