Description

Hawthorn Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has four irregular bays, with the entrance now located in the first bay, likely moved from its original central position where there was a through hall. The entrance includes a six-panel fielded door, with the upper panels being glazed. The windows are twelve-pane sashes with heavy glazing bars, wide boxes, and segmental heads. Gable stacks are present on the roof.
