Nos 52 and 53 on London Road are 18th-century buildings featuring a pebbledashed exterior and a thatched roof with brick stacks. They stand at one and a half storeys high and have four ranges of windows with glazing bars. The front includes one half-glazed door that is topped with a flat hood supported by cut brackets.
