Description

Red Lion Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century that has been altered over time. It is constructed of rendered stone and brick, topped with a tiled roof. The building features three bays and a lobby entry, positioned end on to the street, with a rear service wing. The cottage has 20th-century timber casement windows and a lean-to porch. The left end room, which was originally the parlour, has a blocked fireplace and bar stops to the chamfered spine beam. The rear kitchen beam displays swept chamfers.
