Description
Lawn Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century that has been altered over time. It features a rendered exterior over a timber frame with brick infill in the rear center bays, while the rest has been rebuilt in brick and rendered. The roof is made of old tiles and was formerly thatched, with a brick chimney located between the left bays. The house has one storey and an attic, comprising 3½ bays. On the ground floor, there are 17th-century three-light casements with moulded mullions and 20th-century leading. The attic includes paired 20th-century metal casements set in gabled eaves-line dormers. A board door is situated between the left bays, accompanied by a 20th-century gabled timber porch. There is another door to the right within a lean-to porch, and a half bay to the right features a single-storey projection. Inside, the central room contains a stop-chamfered spine beam and a fireplace lintel.
