Description
Grove Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill at the rear and the upper part of the right gable, while the rest of the structure has been rebuilt in whitewashed brick. The roof is thatched and half-hipped to the right, with a large brick stack located between the left bays and a later brick chimney on the right. The house has one storey and an attic, consisting of three bays. It includes three-light wooden casements, with a single light window between the right bays, and a 20th-century half-glazed door positioned to the right of centre. The left bay has a 19th-century two-storey projection made of whitewashed brick, topped with a slate roof and similar casements. There are three board doors located at the rear of the original range.
