Description

White Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located in Broad Hinton. It is constructed from colourwashed chalkstone on sarsen footings and features a thatched roof. The cottage is single storey with an attic and consists of three bays, including a lean-to on the left end. There is a central boarded door and three-light 19th-century casement windows, with all openings having exposed timber lintels. To the left of the door, there is a blocked opening. The cottage has brick gable stacks and a 20th-century lean-to at the rear.
