Description

Gooselands is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of chalkstone with sarsen lower walls and some flint banding, topped with a thatched roof. The building has one storey and an attic, consisting of two bays, with an additional bay and a lean-to on the right side. The cottage features a 20th-century door and three-light windows with timber lintels, while the extension has two-light windows. The thatched roof is hipped on the left side, half-hipped on the right, and sweeps over an outbuilding. There are three flush dormers in the roof.
