4/123 Mansell monument in the churchyard, lm south of chancel, Church of St Leonard

GV II

Chest tomb. Early C18. Limestone. Lyre-shaped end panels with deeply moulded volutes and cartouches. Vigorously ornate south side panel with putti holding open drapery to reveal inscription and further putti holding books. Eroded incised italic lettering. Further volutes and central blank panel to north. Chamfered base and slab.
