Description
The Maslen monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Michael, approximately 10 metres south of the chancel. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a corniced table and recessed corner balusters, with oval panels that include putti in the corners and floral pilasters at the ends. It commemorates Joseph Maslen, who died in 1811.
