Description
Springside Cottage is a pair of semi-detached cottages that have been converted into one cottage, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of dressed limestone and features a thatched roof with brick stacks. It is two stories high and has four windows. The right side of the cottage has two 20th-century doors and a two-light and one-light casement window, while the left side has a two-light and three-light casement window. On the first floor, there are three two-light casement windows and one three-light casement window. At the rear, there is a rubble stone extension on the left side, and the right side has a 19th-century fixed window. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a timber lintel, along with some 20th-century renovations. An insurance plaque is located on the left part of the cottage, featuring the word "County" with a figure of Britannia above it.
